    Post Former Mossad Chief Talks::::

    LINK::: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...an-strike.html

    An attack by Israel, scheduled for some time this year, would be a serious mistake by Israel he said.

    "Just wait", President Obama has said, that with promises' that he will not allow Iran to become a nuclear state.

    11:39AM GMT 09 Mar 2012

    The ex-director of the intelligence agency pointed to a need for caution after Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister, hinted Israel might feel the need to attack.

    Among the alternative actions he suggested was supporting Iranian opposition groups working for regime change.

    "An attack on Iran before you are exploring all other approaches is not the right way how to do it," Meir Dagan said to CBS's 60 Minutes, according to a transcript of a programme that airs on Sunday.

    After returning from talks in Washington, Mr Netanyahu told local TV stations late Thursday that he prefers a diplomatic solution, but left the military option on the table.

    "We won't accept a situation where Iran has nuclear weapons, because we face an existential threat," Mr Netanyahu said.
    "Mr Netanyahu told local media that a strike on Iran "is not a matter of days or weeks, but it's also not a matter of years." Netanyahu's former security adviser, Uzi Arad, told Army Radio Friday he believed Mr Netanyahu's timetable narrowed down the options for a military strike: "What's left? A matter of months."

    I just watched Obama on TV say words to the effect that: I (Mr Obama, hisself) won't allow this to happen and Israel should just wait for my (read: his, Mr Obama's) actions first.

    Whew! That's a relief that is. I think.

    Ohhh - One more thing:::

    "The choice: should the US and Israel bomb Iran?"

    Today, President Obama and Israel’s prime minister are to discuss the most momentous decision they will ever make – what to do about Iran’s nuclear threat. David Blair reports.

    Dramatists thrive on impossible choices; presidents are paid to avoid them. Ever since he took office, President Barack Obama has striven to escape what his French counterpart, Nicolas Sarkozy, once called a “catastrophic alternative”: namely, the stark decision over whether to bomb Iran, or to accept an Iran with the Bomb.

    As Mr Obama prepares to meet Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, in the White House today, he will know that, for once, the French leader was innocent of Gallic exaggeration when he framed the looming dilemma in those terms as long ago as 2007.

    The guy is quite correct an attack on Iran would be stupid. But I actually hope the dumb as dirt Netanyahu carries out the attack.
    The resulting war might get some results for the West Bank people under occupation.
