Default ob1.exe - how do I get rid of it?

    Hey everyone,

Comodo Firewall and Avast keep coming up with a detected threat etc, referring to a 'ob1.exe' which is located in C:\Users\Sam\AppData\Local\Temp . If I try to delete it, it just says 'You need permission to peform this action.'

Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

    Cheers

Use ccleaner and remove temp file. Or boot into safe mode find it delete it / run ccleaner. Looks like it maybe called Trojan.Agent/Gen-HomSec

If you've installed Java MAKE sure the latest version is the ONLY version installed. Uninstall older versions

    Could also try Unlocker.

Load in safe mode with networking then upload it to www.virustotal.com, then you'll know what you're dealing with and what you'll need to do to remove it (if it leaves other things as well)
Non-system disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready.

Ok cheers guys, I haven't had it popup for a couple of days so maybe avast or comodo has done something with it? anyway i installed and ran ccleaner, it cleared about 1.5GB of 'crap' from all over, mainly temp files.

While I was at it I also installed HijackThis and ran it, here is the log file if someone doesn't mind checking.

    cheers, Sam.

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.4
