Default Yahoo/xtra email terms & conditions

Seen Yahoo/Xtra email terms & conditions they want you to agree too ??

"we analyse email messages to identify key elements of meaning and then categorise this information for immediate and future use."

"This information may also be used for interest-based advertising. "

There is an opt out, but surely NZ privacy laws wouldnt allow this to start with ??

they scan you emails for webmail advertising purposes.

Go to GMail settings → Web Clips and untick the Show my web clips above the Inbox checkbox.

Also with the Yahoo/Flikr terms, they get you to give them a right to all your pictures you upload - in perpetuity !
