    Problem is that they are Android 2.1 not 2.2 or later..

    No worse than Vodafone branding of devices.

    The major drawback to this device (apart from the fact that the OS is outdated - but that could probably be remedied) is the onboard memory: only 512MB.

    That's enough for the Android OS, plus Adobe Flash, Google Maps, Gmail, Swype and less than a handful of other apps. Installing Google Earth on top of those 4 mentioned would just about suck up any free space left.

    Then you have to start looking for applications that will run off the SD card. Not an easy task.

    they're not telecom, you'll find that they're probably ZTE. Which is the same thing really. yuk!
