I could check it from here, if someone installed teamviewer on it. I just helped someone get their webcam back, (on a laptop) after KIS was on it via teamviewer.

It didnt even exist in device manager. Removed KIS, it reappeared! So, if you have a webcam, (dont know about ones you add tho), DON'T use KIS. It'll kill it completely

It may only happen with laptops then if yours isnt part of a laptop. But KIS definitely killed the one I fixed. Went to DM no sign of the cam. Got the person on Skype earlier, saying removing KIS restored the cam

Mine is a laptop Speedy.

Sure that wasn't a one off? Have NEVER had any problems with KIS, been absolutely great.

Thanks for all the replies chaps. Funny enough the emails have suddenly stopped - it may be my daughter hasn't been on the computer for a while or she herself has done something about it. I will hopefully see her soon and we will go through this thread.
