    Default Chrome

    Hi guys.

I'm back for some more of your most valuable inputs.

Started to use the latest Chrome browser 9.0.597.76 beta, because I can, and just wanted to ask where the files go after you download them?

On Firefox I have set to desktop, but can't anywhere to set it to, on Chrome.

Also has anyone used the Chrome operating system, if it really exist????

I have down a search, because it sounds like it might be an answer, for my poor old laptop, but have been able to find it.

    Thanks,

    Ian.

Pretty sure with chrome on Xp they go to .../My Documents/Downloads, or just in Downloads in Vista or 7.

Check there first anyway. Try hitting the Alt key when chrome is open and see if that brings up a menu bar.

Don't look at me! I don't think it's actually gone RTM (does free software go RTM?) anyway you get the idea...

Thats why I find this, sodden, interweb thingee so confusing. I found a site that said a version 3 had been released.

I've been told take take most things, with a grain of salt, whatever that means.

Started watching a video on this Chrome OS, sounds good, but a few other sites rubbished it.

Thanks, again, Speedy. You are a God send,
