if you're talking in terms of NCEA, you might look into AUT's certificate in computing and mathematical sciences. Although it might be level 5's, I'm not 100% on that.
Otherwise, maybe AMES or Computer power?

What you gotta understand is that all the schools are the same. Some are lecture based maybe and some are self paced that you read yourself and ask questions if you need to, there are no lectures that you must attend etc...
At the end, you get a diploma with the school and you get some IT certifications like Microsoft and CompTIA.
Level 5 and 6 are about the same but 6 is a bit longer like 3-6 months. Ie., if you are doing a PC Tech one, Level 5 might be XP Pro for eg., while Level 6 might be the Cisco stuff or MS Server.
Auldhouse is pretty expensive but good for background info, they are more for professionals and doing crash courses, I think CompTIA A+ cost like near $10,000 last I looked. Some schools the full year for the diploma may only cost $6-10k and you get more IT certs (and not just one).

A polytech diploma might be a better option most do L5 as well as L6
Thanks for all your help guys i might check out MIT they have a Diploma in Information Systems (Level 6)
Auldhouse are the most expensive lot mostly to cater IT professionals.
PTEs dont' get any or much government subsidies so more expensive, might be $8-10k per year. Private Training Establishment.
The Polytech's etc should be cheaper.
unitec might have something cool.
