Default Internet Radio. What software to use?

What are the best internet radio applications to use? What are the normal features?
Have tried using my smartphone (nokia n85) via wifi to a vodafone broadband connection, but the buffering/streaming is not working right.
Have tried the windows media player, but it cant find george fm or radio active, or new zealand.
    Thanks

Go to whatever radio site, if its online. And see if its got an audio option. Depending on the browser you use, firefox does have a windows media plugin

Dont know about the other browsers tho

    Welcome to PF1 Shakoni

You can give Screamer Radio a go. When you open it, along the top, Presets - then select what ever you want - By Genre has a LOT.

Not all radio stations will load, but the majority do.

Far from it -- Grooveshark is damn good as well.

Just a month or so back, we had a bit of a "do" -- some real strange requests -- While I do have a good assortment, some were WTF ----Grooveshark to the rescue Then of course the usual -- Its not spelt like that

Had one request - Kellee Patterson - If it Dont Fit Dont force it ---Hmmmmmmmmmm

I just find the right stream URL and load it in Winamp (Windows media player should also work)

If you want NZ radio stations, the links should be on their websites somewhere.

For example, Classic Hits: http://www.classichits.co.nz/listenl...sichitsAKL.asx (mms://wms-trn-all.streaming.net.nz/trn-classic-hits-akl)

George FM on the other hand uses: rtmp://af-mediaworks.streaming.net.nz/live/georgefm which doesn't work for me in Winamp. I think you need something that supports RTMP instead.
Non-system disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready.

This Grooveshark is something else. How do you search for a know station on it eg bFM in Akld or George? Is this going to cripple my vodafone 2gb allowance?
