    Default Replacing Rear Wiper Blade

Anyone knows how to replace the rear wiper blade (rubber refill) of a Toyota Corolla? It's quite different from the front wiper blades whereby they can be removed and put in the new refill fairly easily as long as you bought the right width of refill rubber. I can't figure out how to remove the old blade. LOL.

Could it be that I got to replace the whole assembly??

You could try Toyota or for a small fee get supercheap to change it.

Of course, I can get my local garage guy to replace it but that's not the point here. If something can be done fairly easily by myself (with some guidance, of course in this case), why pay and get someone else to do it? At the same time I learn something new!

You might have to straiten a clip on the end or something to slide it out. No instructions on the refill ?

Unlike those front blades, there's no clip. The two ends are fixed, from what I see.

Can you push the rubber blade part up abit along the part that holds it in and slide it out between a couple of the bent over clips that hold it in. From memory that is how I did it on the rear wiper blade on my old 1984 Corolla Liftback.

I tried but couldn't take it out, it has got 2 pieces of metal 'reinforcing' it from the sides.

Take a close-up photo of it so we can see what's what

Squeeze the metal bits in, and slide the blade through the arm grips.
