    Default ERDUNDOCache

    Vista
    very possibly infected
    computer wouldn't boot
    BSOD - error missing User32.dll
    copied User32.dll to C:\windows\system32

computer booted - almost as if 1st time booted.
none of the users documents were in My Documents
searched for them and found them in c:\ERDUNDOCache directory

is there anyway to return the computer so that it boots to their standard desktop & documents are in My Documents.... or do I need to copy their documents over to the new My Documents

See if it boots into safe mode, then scan the whole hdd with something.

    ie: Avast / malwarebytes

Looks like it maybe infected. If these are installed uninstall them.

    Gator
    Ipinsight
    Isearch
    Sidesearch
    Savenow
    New.net or newdotnet
    Netpals

If it can boot into safe mode / networking, post a hjt log

The profile is most probably corrupted.

If you browser to users>username does it have the documents there?

Disable SR and run a trial of Eset Nod32.

Disable or remove McAffee first(and replace with Avast!)
