Re: Windows 10 --- Latest Tech Preview

That's interesting, but I am seeing the message in Windows Update, not as a tray icon. I am also in the insider program and have never opted out, so I'm not sure that page applies to me.

Re: Windows 10 --- Latest Tech Preview

That was very smooth. Started at 07:15, finished at 10:15 with a couple of waits for me to respond. On my old slow machine that's actually pretty good.

Mine took two attempts, but eventually went in smoothly.

Thanks WT - I'd totally forgotten to check. Downloading now. Reading the blog there seems to be a bit of refinement plus a whole lot of bug fixes.

Thanks for all that - very interesting and useful. I have actually bought a Husqvarna (see earlier post), so let's hope it works out OK.

Re: covid19 scanner app and bluetooth questions

I'm not sure what brought all that on. My original question (did you read it?) was to do with aspects of the covid scanning app and the bluetooth activation. I certainly wasn't question its validity...

Re: covid19 scanner app and bluetooth questions

I don't claim to know how the apps work, but I could guess that "retrieve running apps" means it can see if the scanner/bluetooth app is going so it can exchange data (as it is designed to do). "View...

Sorry WT, I should have looked at the link properly. It explicitly says "You do not have to have the app open for it to work.".
