Got it sorted, the fast startup had been re-enabled.

After the recent windows update to 20H2 my gaming system will no longer go to sleep without help.
It's working 100% other than that.

Yep, got rid of the second profile & the dot is gone.

Just noticed she has a second profile on the system.
Would that cause it.

Whatever repair you do will only be temporary in a hot steamy environment.
You may need to try plumbers suppliers for a replacement part.
