  1. Re: Python query - unrelated new function breaking existing function

    Good spot on the item/Items/items. That was me being a bit sloppy and careless when writing the post. It wasn't actual code, and all actual code referred to item as it should.

    I've found the issue...
  2. Python query - unrelated new function breaking existing function

    Hi all,

    I have a python script that basically works as follows:

    Items = pd.Dafaframe(some excel sheet)
    def FunctionA(items):
    try:
    """Does some stuff"""
    return(answer)

    Re: Huawei Nova 5T dual sim phone

    I was wondering about that too. Or an advertised price for a future promotion, so of course when you went to the actual page you’d see the current non promo price.

    Re: Students working ?

    Is this a genuine question, or an attempt to push a narrative disguised as a question?

    I was working before I started my degree and kept working through my undergrad and into post-graduate study....

    Re: To arm our Police. Or not.

    From the NZ Police web site, it seems the last officer killed on duty was almost a decade ago, in May 2009 - http://www.police.govt.nz/about-us/history/memorial/officers-killed-by-criminal-acts -...

    Yes, standard tiptronic feature. Just give it a good firm shove to the right when it's in drive.

    Re: Towing a trailer

    If it's a CVT, it may void warranty. Other than that, I've never found it different to towing in a manual (never towed in a CVT myself though).

    PBtech daily deal

    Don't know how many people keep an eye on them, but they've got a 512gb 760p for $159. Not the best pcie ssd around, but that $/gb is pretty impressive.

    What was your last "big" tech purchase?

    For me, a 2nd gen 12.9 iPad Pro (Apple Refurb). $1099 was a pretty solid price for it and I couldn't resist.
    Also a bunch of parts to build a media pc.

    Re: Segotep SG-K7 push/pull fan placement

    Thanks for that - was not aware the horizontal mount could cause issues with some fans. I'll have a look into it.

    Re: Segotep SG-K7 push/pull fan placement

    Yea I fully admit I don't *need* the two extra fans, I just want to do it for sh*ts and gigs while I'm upgrading the ram and storage. I'll add them as exhausts.

    It's definitely not the best case...
