    Are they showing drive letters like I suggested you look at ?

    "IF" for some reason there's not a drive letter assigned automatically they will show as you described but wont show normally.

    Could be something as simple as dust in the SATA sockets, seen it happen often enough, unplug them, blow out put back and all's well.

    Could also be a failing SATA Cable or power plug or SATA...
