Possibly your motherboard battery has gone flat and lost your bios settings
Replace the coin cell (with the computer power disconnected) then reassemble it and boot up, picking #1 on that list...
I see that you cant uninstall it as such at least in W10, because it's been part of the OS since last June.

I have installed W10 over W7 (free upgrade) on an old Core2duo machine, mechanical c: drive, works perfectly (no hardware drivers needed), activated with a digital licence. Only problem it runs a bit...

Try replacing the cmos battery.
I had the same problem, wouldn't boot into Bios/uefi until I did that (the clock was still working fine tho).
Also needed to use a usb keyboard as my cordless...

What OS are you using, W10 perhaps? Not surprising it wont install correctly.
