    Gone unnoticed in this debacle is the sign "Kia Ora" was supposed to say “Welcome”, in Maori, but what it says is “Hello”.

    Ok, some older Maori dictionaries say "Kia Ora" also means “Good Health”....

    As a bonus look at the picture and note where the pedestrian crossing is.

    Right on the corner so if a bus has to stop for pedestrians it blocks the road it is turning from.
