    Nope, should only need to do that if vista will not boot at all. If it boots to the logon screen then the mbr, boot sector and boot manager are all fine.

    Yes we have no restore points. That woudld be far to easy.

    It does boot to the logon screen, then reboots.

    Hmmmmm Had an idea... Nope disabling restart on error has no effect.

    If you hose the images down and let them dry in the sun then they will shrink.
