Who knows what other policies are applied that would just hinder a home user. My work PC for instance has the Sleep option removed...

I can safely say I've never had a Windows update render a PC unbootable.
I can't say the same about Linux :)
It's worth noting that HDMI to DVI adapters are very cheap as they use the same signalling, so DVI on the PC might not be a requirement :)
"M key" and "PCIe mode only" are pretty much the same thing - the M.2 slot only supports (physically) drives running in PCIe mode (which is what you want anyway).
22602280 is actually two things,...
Bit hard to have anything that long when I'm still in my 20s :)
4GB is enough. It won't be the Superman of PCs, but it'll run fine.

No one's going to be perfect but sure as hell beats the US.
Hope it had a good GPU to go with it
Only four years old and it's that slow already? Could just be the OS bogged down, try a clean install of Windows first.
:+1: I'm yet to have an OS update completely preventing Windows from booting. I can't say the same about Linux :)
I'm just going to point out here that I had to drive out to fix a Linux server the other day as an update stopped it from booting entirely.
Never had that problem with Windows :)
The Warehouse (in Pukekohe at least) had their Christmas decorations up last month. :stare:
Also that.
If it saves lives, I'm all for it.

Either we lock down and screw over the economy, or don't lock down and screw over the economy, the health of the general public and the health system.
Seems like an easy choice to me.
Every new cable I get now is at least Cat6 :)
Once we build I plan to wire up the entire house with Cat6a, to future proof for 10 gigabit Ethernet once it becomes common.
ACT on 4.9% and losing Epsom, and the Greens over 5% sounds better to me :)
The birds are happy that they can come out all day again now that I'm working from home for the rest of the week :)
In the same way that the railway crosses the Gisborne airport runway (and not vice-versa), roads cross railways. :)
I managed to get both 27" 4K monitors on sale for $500 each - I bought one, and loved it so much I bought another one a few months later :)
Clearly you're not a web developer ;)
One for code, one for previewing in the browser, one for videos :)
Surprised there hasn't been more multi-monitor screenshots :)

If the headphones have their own volume control it would work fine. It's just a cheap splitter in that case, even The Warehouse have them for $5....
One less browser engine for developers to worry about :)
Don't forget to include the part where the president suggests ingesting bleach ;)
Only dual screens? I've got three :)
