I connected using ethernet and it's exactly the same. It only happens when I'm on something like really intensive that requires a constant connection, any other time my CPU...

When the lap happens, the CPU Usage shoots up a considerable amount, usually hitting 100% for a moment before...

It's an ADSL wireless modem.
BT Homehub but it's apparently a rebranded Thomson Speedtouch 7G if that helps any.
