What does halloween? Diwali have to do with NZ? But they're celebrated.
Shops have decided, well Americans go stupid over this day, and it's an excuse to tie in local $$$ to what would otherwise go...

  3. Re: Chrome : slurping up your saved passwords & sending to them Google

If you've got multiple devices and are sharing favourites/passwords etc, this then is why it's going to google. It's a balance between privacy and convienience.
  4. Re: Why would you subscribe to Sky - unless you are mad on sport?

Sport has the rights pretty well locked up the world over. Only some sports are free. On platforms like red bull tv etc.

But for the big ones premier league, rugby (in this neck of the woods),...

Re: Why must I delete my emails twice?

Though the point of emails going to deleted items is in case you need to get it back again - as in accidental deletion of something that you want when going through deleting all the crap.

    Re: Alternative to Sky Sport?

You’re mostly stuffed if you want the rugby. Sky has that sewn up. Spark sport has some of the cricket.

Re: Best version of a movie.

Both are pretty crappy resolution, arguably #2 is a bigger picture....closer to 720p, but much lower bitrate. Also a weird aspect ration, possiblly 2.35:1 (theatre aspect)
    #1 might look better as...

    Re: TV Reception

Yeah that’s would be my thinking as well. Newer tv has the dvbt tuner. Older one won’t, it will still be analogue. And so can’t pick anything up as there’s no analog system any more.

    Only...
