    Re: port forwarding

The easiest thing to do is go here and select whic application you are using (which version of UT) and then select your router in the next page and it has a good guide how to port forward.

Re: Sager laptops - where to get?

She never said it was... she was meaning it is better than the ASUS in my link (which was only used as an example of 2 HDDs anyway).

But don't you think a $5000 laptop is a lot to carry round,...

Re: Sager laptops - where to get?

That is correct, I have found 17 inch + can almost (if not) be classed as desktop replacements and often have multiple HDDs, look at the highest speced laptop in the OPers link and it can have 3...

Re: Sager laptops - where to get?

From what I have seen (not a great lot of research) but 17 inch + laptops come with 2 + HDDs, I have a 15.4 inch laptop and carrying that around each day is difficult, so a 17 will be even more...

    Re: New ADSL wireless Modem

I have had a look at that one and though it does have all the major requirements, there seem to be major speed issues with the wireless.

    Re: x86 or x64? Confused...

EM64T is Intels name for an x64 capable CPU and most (if not all new CPUs by all manufacturers) are x64 capable these days.

If the CPU is x64 then the motherboard will support it.

    Re: New ADSL wireless Modem

Can get everything minus the modem for ~$300, so maybe get a cheap reliable modem for under $100 and done, not all in one, but all main requirements sorted.

Re: Nokia Charger, Black or White

Yes, that is correct, but from what the description of where the cable was cut, sounds like it is in the part with the DC voltage, and getting these round the wrong way is bad.
