    Re: Email client alternatives

I abandoned email clients in favour of webmail years ago and find it much easier all around. I hardly ever clean out my inbox either and space has not been an issue.

Might seem not so old to you but that is an 8 year old cpu design (launch date Q2 2013). Still perfectly capable for most people but why not just stick with windows 10 and save the headaches.

    Re: ASUS B450M-A video mystery

To add to the above only ryzen APUs have built in graphics and the connectors are on the motherboard to support those. They tend to have a G for graphics on the end of the name such as 3200G, 3400g

Unless you are playing the audio directly on the server or transcoding it for some reason I can see no reason the audio quality would be different.

Re: I tried out Windows 11

Just before I left one of my previous employers 2 years ago they begrudgingly upgraded from XP to windows 7, and allowed a few laptop users to go as far as windows 8 just because they couldn't get...

Re: I tried out Windows 11

I will wait until windows 11 is actually available to see if all this actually turns out to be the issue it seems to be. I tend to upgrade my hardware and OS fairly regularly, went from 7 to 8 early...

    Re: Pale Blue Dot

I don't read it that way, to me it's saying this is the only place we can live for the moment. It says "the only world known so far", the key word there being known. It's not about human supremacy at...

    Re: Terminology question

Actually the current best bang for buck is mostly considered intel again with the i5 11400F - about $250-$300 and very close to the 5600X in performance. Can also use a cheap motherboard and stick...

    Re: Terminology question

Unless they change it you will likely need a motherboard with a TPM module which isn't that common at the moment. It's going to stop a lot of upgrades if they stick with that requirement.
