Re: Windows 11 Latest Tech Preview

Always has had some, but it usually very cunningly hidden in between the obfuscation, complexity and convolutions. Starting with W8 they've really upped their game in concealing it though.

The truly amazing thing is, there's actually people who will watch it.
A mask is not enough for protection against some who walk among us.

Re: Music machine to brighten your day

That's outdated, Marble Machine X is all the go now, or not go more to the point. A bit like Windows 10 or 11, it is a continuing accumulation of complexity where the system has long since...

    Re: Mental health day

I considered having a mental health day, but on reflection, a mental health 20 minutes is probably a big enough step up. I'll try and spread that 20 minutes over a week though. Near enough..

Re: Theatrical Unveiling by TV One Reporters

Well, it is legal in your own home. If you want to watch Coronation St or Bootsie and Snudge with the blinds (and the volume) down the Police are unlikely to take you away.
    It might pay to avoid...

Re: Should the sale of Lotto be postponed?

Pfft. Lotto ain't on sale, it's still the standard price ;)
  10. Re: Classic Bentlys, Rolls Royce, adapted to electric

Given that the above mentioned vehicles started life riddled with Lucas :badpc: , any change to give them an electrical assist would be a major step forward. :banana:banana

Re: Should the sale of Lotto be postponed?

The question is a bit of an irrelevancy - the odds are such that the chances of winning a major prize are hardly affected to any significant extent if you rely on finding the vital ticket blowing...

    Re: Power Grid Probleems

Those who lacked the foresight to have a healthy stack of orange cones stockpiled by their electricity entry point fully deserve to be shivering in the dark.

  16. Re: A question about the batteries in our motorhome

If the new battery is 12V the two bus batteries are in series, 12V + 12V = 24V and there will be a link cable going from +VE on one battery to -VE on the other. In this setup, both batteries will...

Re: Windows 11 Latest Tech Preview

That seems way more favourable than it merits ;)

Re: Have you seen the Oceania ad?

Their old simulator was no great shakes, so the boss sent the apprentice tea lady's junior assistant out to buy a better one. This definitely is great shakes.
