Hi, it is a genuine Toshiba battery from my understanding. It runs after I boot without battery and then add the battery. If I pull out the AC then it dies after 2 seconds or so. One interesting...

Could be but unlikely since the AC unit is the same as the one I’ve had since day 1, plus the machine is telling me the battery is at 100% charge. cheers anyway
