    Re: 2 Degrees's new 3G data plans

Telecom's 500 MB prepaid pack is "pay for what you use". If you use less than 300 MB then you don't pay the whole $30 ($22.50 when using the biggest topup bonus).

Re: Yesterday was Back to the Future!!

Interesting... the pic clearly shows 2010... so why did he end up in 2015?

I'm going to have to rewatch the movie now :p

I hate to spoil the fun, but he ended up in 2015, not 2010.

    Re: Windows 7 activation sucks

No. I've had it report my legitimate copy as non-genuine without a failed activation. I agree with Digby; it's a badly-worded message.

    Re: Apology From Sky TV.

How about "those channels have no plans over the next to change to the widescreen 16:9 format"? That doesn't even make sense!

Re: Software for converting photo negatives

That would imply that "software negative" is different than "film negative" (and, to be honest, I expected some differences). Using the Auto Levels feature may help, but I suspect that there's a...

    Re: iTunes Help

You can join the two tracks together so that they appear as a single song, although you won't be able to skip straight to the second one if you do this.

To do it, insert the CD and highlight both...

Re: Telecom gets sole rights to sell TiVo STBs

The documentation is a bit vague. Telecom states that unmetered downloads won't be available on other ISPs:

    Poll: Re: Snow Leopard?

Well, I'm not sure about it yet. A few bugs are fixed, but now my printer doesn't work and Adium has a strange font issue. I haven't even been running it for a full day but I haven't had any crashes...

    Re: Vodafone 3G Broadband question

The Telecom plans are all available with an open term, although there's still the issue with paying for the modem.

    Re: DVBViewer and CPU Usage.

I can't give specific figures now, but I use EyeTV (CoreAVC) on a 2.33 GHz C2D and the CPU usage is very high. It takes a lot of grunt to decode 1080i.
