Re: Looking for colour printer recommendations

It's been a while since I properly looked at any inkjet output, but historically they were reckoned to be not as good as lasers for b/w. I have very little need to print high quality photos, so that...

Re: Looking for colour printer recommendations

My historical resistance to Brother which may be out of date, has been that the print quality has not shown up well in reviews and the consumables tended to be all in unit, which meant you couldn't...

Yes, I am aware of that. I'm not expecting to use a huge amount of colour so the toner cost shouldn't be a major factor - but having separate b/w and colour cartridges certainly is.

    Looking for colour printer recommendations

I need to replace my current b/w laser printer and I've decided if I'm going to do it I'll get a colour one.

    My needs are:
I want a laser printer, not inkjet
    Mostly b/w,...

Why don't they send in a drone with night-vision gear? With a skilled operator it should avoid problems with rough terrain.

I sort of agree with you. I think there is little to be achieved in going in, but it is clearly very important to some people, and maybe their wishes need to be respected. My understanding of...

    Re: New govt. agency

I'm not offering any opinion of the feasibility/financial justification of any recovery, but it seems to me you can have at least two views:

    Re: PressF1 Web page problems?

It looks like the problems are rearing their head again. I just had the "page error" message when I posted on another topic.
  21. Re: The old Indian IT department scam strikes again

Yes, as long as it is also OK to be brown, black or any other colour.

I think this topic is about exhausted.

  23. Re: The old Indian IT department scam strikes again

I think in RobH's case it has to depend on what was said. If the conversation went "Hello, I am from Chorus fibre installation, how are you today?" I think I would be on my guard. We have been burnt...
