    Picked it up last year for $137 now $158 ...

    Usually when updating there looks like nothing is happening but if you look at your Router and if the lights are flickering it's updating and sometimes it goes from 0% to say 5% in one go

    Found out this morning since the latest "Fall" update the time was 4 minutes out

    It won't have anything to do with luck as it will not be long before the infighting starts meanwhile the NZ Dollar is seeing how low it can go but we won't count imported inflation aye :annoyed:

    Just talked someone through the upgrade this morning that had updates a couple of days ago,got them to check updates again and the Fall update came through

    This time last year I was struggling to get 1Mbps,this improved later with a Fibre Optic cable upgrade which saw a jump to 7.5 Mbps(ADSL)

    3 weeks ago was upgraded to VDSL taking it to 48 Mbps down...

    Just done it

    Got stuck at 85% for 45 minutes until I disabled Eset Nod32 and away it went so turn your AV off first

    PJ,if your Windows 10 is up to date(Anniversary update) you may be stuck with it as with this update removes a switch to turn off but there could be a way which could be over your head to implement...
