OK then, I am thinking of putting a fan on the spare bay slots just below the vid card, as the case doesn't really circulate air well in that area.

Hi all,
I've finally decided to replace the noisy stock cooler on my 9600GTwith something more passive: The Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev 2. Arctic Cooling recommends the use of the Turbo Module,...
9600 is doing visuals, 8600 is doing PhysX. They both use the same driver.
Free version of MediaMonkey is pretty good, I definitely prefer it to WinAmp.
Sorry, I need to update my sig. I'm using Professional I think.
When I wake my PC, aero doesn't work. I've tried the aero wizard, aero flicks on then off. Reboot fixes the problem, until I sleep again. Has anyone else had this?
I found a setting called USB keyboard control, changed it to BIOS> Seems to be ok now, although I still can't wake with the kb.
I haven't updated my sig in a while, it's both Win 7 on different partitions, from mucking around with stuff when I changed my mobo. I can't get it to wake with the keyboard either. I will try and...
The one that comes with Win 7.
I just got a Sidewinder X6 keyboard today, and I am having a small problem with it. It works fine in Windows, and I can get into and edit the BIOS during bootup, but I can't select which OS to boot....

I'm sure I could manage that, but which number is the model number?
Hi,
Is there anyone in Christchurch who has an EEPROM programmer that could write BIOS onto my Abit AX78 CMOS chip? I tried flashing the BIOS a while ago, and it crashed, so now I have a brick.
Thanks to DeSade, I've tried a 7600 with my 9600 in the x16 slots and it is working, which is kind of odd. Although my PC has only recognised the presence of the 9600.
Yeah AM3 CPUs have one less pin than AM2/AM2+. Are any of you guys in Christchurch, and willing to let me borrow a video card just to check that it's not my vid card causing problems?
Out of the few I found that meet my requirements, I am yet to find a shop with any of them in stock.
OK then, thanks guys. It seems that availability could be an issue, as not many places are selling AM2 boards any more.
My current board is awesome, apart from being faulty. I can't use the PCIe x16 slots, and if I shut down I have to wait at least ten minutes or it gives me video card error beep.
Hi guys,
I'm looking at getting a new motherboard, and I've narrowed it down to a few.
Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P
DFI LanParty DK 790X-M2RS
ASRock AOD790GX/128M
Foxconn A7DA-S
Does anyone know...
Yes I think it was one of them. That is a bizzare machine.
I saw a very unusual helicopter flying over Nelson today. It had a coaxial rotor setup, and looked to be about 1 or 2 metres wide with flat sides. The colour scheme was blue and yellow. Does anyone...
Yep, picked up a free antenna at Jaycar today, those guys are great.
sroby: Riccarton mall ground level.
prefect: 3.7v li-poly, I just bought a generic li-poly charger off trademe, so that should do the trick. The transmitter has a steel plate with a threaded hole in...
The Danbar website doesn't have any parts for it.
I read the manual and I know a bit of stuff about RC gear, it's definitely radio controlled and uses an ACDC charger. There is a hatch on the back of the transmitter, but nothing inside it.
