...also been given details of a place that'll take the DPF out altogether. That's the next job.

Re: Just bought my first diesel.

UPDATE: Dealer called in response to my email. In an hour I had a loan car dropped off and my Mazda taken away by truck to have the DPF issues resolved at their expense.

I'm as impressed as I am...

Re: Just bought my first diesel.

According to Mazda, because the red light is solid and not flashing, I can drive it for short trips but not out of the suburb, until they can look at it next Wednesday and do a DPF regen.

    Have...

Re: Just bought my first diesel.

Interesting. Everything I've looked at says the red warning light is as a result of a process that was ignored.

There's was no prior 'yellow' warning light, and the DPF light didn't come on prior...

    Talk about buyers remorse!

I've had it for 7 days today and already have a red light DPF warning. Waiting to hear back from Mazda re: next steps.

Then I'm onto the car dealer.

Re: Just bought my first diesel.

So.....whenever I buy some more RUC online with NZTA do I get sent a new sticker with the new mileage on it to put on the windscreen?

Or is it not that clear? I bought some last Monday and thought...

Phew thanks. Feeling much better now about my decision.

I hear you about the oil changes. That seems a common thing.

Not until they either backtrack (which from what I read is possible) or still provide support and updates for "old" CPU's.

    Just bought my first diesel.

After 55 years of mostly sensible buying decisions, I (well, the finance company) now own a oil-burner 2013 Mazda6 Ltd.

It ticked all the other boxes, and I went with it because it was NZ-new with...

    Re: Journalistic Standards

    I don't think so.

It annoys me when people refer to the PM as 'Adern'. I'm no fan, but people should respect the position, if not the person.

Same with Trump. Regardless of opinion, he was...

    Re: Self Isolation Pilot

I've watched a few YT clips of MIQ and it looks pretty well organised.

Alternatively, stay o/seas and then you don't have to complain about MIQ.

Re: Don't Yah just love a happy ending.

To this day I don't understand that. How is it so many people feel 'sick' when testing stations pop up? Why would you queue for hours to have someone do a prostate check via your nose?
