okay now i've got it working at about 95% frames with 1080p content....very good for my cpu
and all it took was a lot of fiddling

this is just my old computer... the whole point of buying the graphics card was to use it as a home theater pc.

i have tried it in a friends old rig...seems to perform fine even with 1080p video. Hes got a pentium d 820@ 2.8ghz system + 1gb ram+ 400w psu

Tried everything; windows media player, vlc player, win dvd, vlc player, itunes and even tryed playing hd content on youtube etc....just a big lag

i have googled the card and i recognised the fact that many people were having problems with the microsoft UAA bus driver for high...

the cpu seemed to be maxing out when i first ran the card but after disabling HD audio it was fine.
The ram isn't even coming close to maxing out
so i have no idea what the problem is...
