    Re: I find it incredibe

I'm feeling pretty positive about life continuing after our physical body dies. Not just for us, but for all of nature as well. The animals, the trees, plants etc etc.

The Pope has said that our...

    Re: Zoom security issue

We have tried Zoom here to take part in a group that we are involved with. It works, on our WXP computer, but do you think the security problem is worse/better for us, as it's WXP?

If I go to pcworld.co.nz page, and click on pressF1 tab, the "pressf1 site is currently down", the next page says.

Try startpage.com as an alternative search engine. It uses Google, but more or less stops Google tracking you.

An account to join GitHub? You don't have to do that. There is a download link for MyPal in the readme at the bottom of the GitHub page.

Have a look at the MyPal browser. "Mypal is a current and maintained Windows XP web browser. Mypal is based on Moonchild Productions' Pale Moon code..."

    Re: LAN speed between computers

However, 100MB/s is VERY roughly equivalent to a Gigabit/s? Is that what the specs are saying?

    Re: LAN speed between computers

    I'm confused on this point. One source says this router has 4x RJ-45 for Gigabit Ethernet. Another says 4 x 10/100 ports. And 3 x 10/100Mbps LAN Ports + 1 x 10/100Mbps WAN/LAN port

    LAN speed between computers

If a file is transferred from my W7 computer to another computer on the LAN (linuxmint), the data rate is fairly pathetic, 10MB/s or so. Buf if the same exercise is repeated with the computers...

Re: Mower - mulch or not mulch

Get a battery powered electric model. I bought a Stihl 420 last year (on special!) They are a bit expensive, but it has plenty of power, and ploughs into long grass with little trouble.
