    Chances are it's USB 2.0 but check if the USB port you are using is not USB 1.0 (some devices have these for mouse)

    Have several HP Pocket drives (USB 2.0) which can be slow but plugged into USB...

    Do run XMP profile for your ram?,16 Gigs should be enough the money spent for extra ram would be better spent on a Samsung...
