    Re: Question Time

Hard to beat the Winston Churchill - Lady Astor encounters.

There are a number of them but here are a couple from memory.

Lady Astor: Mr Churchill, you are drunk, you are drunk, you are very,...

    Re: Sign language radio ad.

    Here's one for you Paul.

Put Kaikawe rererangi into a Maori - English translator and you will find it is "Aircraft Carrier". :D

Now how did they know that.
  7. Re: Electric aircraft in the near future? I don't think so.

Re: Who gets their Marching Orders?

Gone unnoticed in this debacle is the sign "Kia Ora" was supposed to say “Welcome”, in Maori, but what it says is “Hello”.

Ok, some older Maori dictionaries say "Kia Ora" also means “Good Health”....

Re: Who gets their Marching Orders?

As a bonus look at the picture and note where the pedestrian crossing is.

Right on the corner so if a bus has to stop for pedestrians it blocks the road it is turning from.

    Dahhh, back to...

Re: Who gets their Marching Orders?

It hurts me to have to point out that International Aeroplanes don’t have glass fuselages and therefore getting to see "The Sign", regardless of which way you land, is a very long shot.

    Let me...

Re: The government has given up on Covid

You raise a point Clive, as whilst I took full maths at High School I find it no longer seems to apply.

Re: The government has given up on Covid

I suspect you are absolutely right decibel, in which case it was never a vaccine, which raises my question as to why it was ever promoted as one?

Re: The government has given up on Covid

    Interesting read Paul.

The bit that really annoys me is the Government knew very early on that the Vaccine was an epic fail, as far as Vaccines go, because a substantial number of people who were...

    Re: Three Waters

We, (Tauranga) haven’t got a City Council, or be able to vote for one.

Problem was we had an impasse whereby the Paid/Salaried Staff didn’t agree with with a number of Councillors, so the “Cindy’s...
