You signed up for an ISP thats whole reputation is based on their filtering service to only provide access to family friendly, work safe site.

They don't exactly hide it on their webpage, so it...

    Re: Broadband Plans etc

Drop your line rental to Homeline Economy which shaves $20 odd a month off the cost.

You haven't said where you live so wireless coverage is kinda limited by that.

  6. Re: Is there a photo resize extension for thunderbird?

If you use XP, an TBird is your default mail client:

Right Click the image(s) --> Send to --> Mail Recipient

It should prompt for a resize.

Ha, I think it's because I'm so used to my old Logitech wireless one which I've had since 2000 (still going strong) which is pretty big as far as mice go.

  10. Re: Who is the Best PC retailer in AUckland?(not supercheap thanks)

I'll go against OEM. I've had repeated terrible bordering on fraudulent dealings with them.

Re: NZ Domain Name Registration scam is back

Domain Name Commissioner is collecting as many of them as they can to help with any kind of case they can bring against the people involved.

They'll all be turned over to them.

Re: Is Xtra the only ISP to give out a free router?

Lots of ISPs offer different services, free national, daily caps, monthly caps, no caps, block usage purchases. I think their model of "pick a speed and a usage unit" is quite good - it's all about...
