Re: Win10 Mobile Hotspot internet issues

Dugi, I have the laptop already, and I'm not sure what wifi repeater will work, or what to buy. The way I see it is it doesn't cost me anything with this setup.

    Win10 Mobile Hotspot internet issues

For the last week I've been using a laptop to boost the wifi so a PC can access the internet.
Yesterday it's saying the connection is secured but no internet.

At this stage I'm not sure if it's...

    Re: Jokes to Email

An alternative way, is to go to the jokes page on this site (e.g this page is https://pressf1.pcworld.co.nz/showthread.php?148057-Jokes-to-Email) and send them that link. You don't need to be a...

Re: Holy Crap - People worry about Microsoft

I think the safest solution is to get a group of people, randomly draw straws every two hours to see which device someone will be using for the next two hours......

    Re: Living allowance, livable?

Yeah, 3 weeks for each year I've been there. The downside is, IRD will take most of it in tax lol

    Re: Living allowance, livable?

To be honest, I wouldn't mind redundancy. I'd get 63 weeks pay, and it would give me the chance to get into a more active job, rather than just sitting in front of a screen for 8 hours a day for...

    Re: 5G health threat

Don't be. I was looking forward to seeing other people's observations on this. Not that I'm trying to do any scaremongering, but if 5G evidently interferes with satellites, it makes me wonder what...

    Re: 5G health threat

When I read that 5G would disrupt the weather satellites, I thought to myself, why don't they update the satellites?

    Re: Living allowance, livable?

It's not a handout as such. It's what IRD calls a living allowance. It's part of a calculation for paying child support that is exempt from the calculation for how much you need to pay.
    I reckon...

    Re: Bye bye Firefox

It was weird for me. I used ant.downloader to store youtube stuff, and halfway through a download firefox decided to delete it without restarting.

    Living allowance, livable?

So I get my updated child support notice today. All good, no issue with that.
But I notice that IRD calculates the living allowance as $19,867.00 which equates to $382.05 a week.
    Seriously, can...

Re: May is New Zealand Music Month

With the lighter stuff, there's quite a bit of folky/acoustic stuff out there. Same with extreme Metal, but yeah, it's not overly radio friendly. I'm still discovering bands that have already broken...
