    sorry my bad, just checked not possible in GUI but is in CLI "net use \\remotepc\C$ /u:username password" from the documentation it will map a drive to the root of C "$ - denotes a hidden share".

    when you buy watch out for those specials, make sure the Hard drive is big enough, some don't have enough spare space to even do updates CHECK THE SPECS of want you are buying.

    Check the permissions on the files or directory "ls -l" or if you want more info, "man ls" or "ls help" also any file that has a leading dot is hidden ie .etc/usr/var this is not an actual directory....

    if you have installed a newer version or version other than what's installed ATM you ll need to adjust the path in the Environment Variable, each version has its own path ie 2.7xx, 3.xxx etc

    what he said, exfat is readable and writable by both M$ and Mac, but Ntfs is only readable by Macs (Out of Box)

    yep not only does exfat allow file sizes bigger than 4 gigs. The file system is read and writable by Macs. NTFS, is only readable by Macs.
