Asus Motherboard - issues

Hello,

I am looking at building a new system and was thinking of P5Q Pro Asus motherboard.
I have read around a few places with issues regarding Bios upgrades playing havoc with their on-board Lans.
Of course now I meantion it I cant find any threads regarding it, but has any had any such issues with Asus Boards?

Here's the ASUS forum, for it

Altho there's only 2 BIOS updates for it, 0506 and 0703

I know with the system I'm building, the latest BIOS fixes an issue, where once you update the LAN drivers, it kills net access.

But its not the same model as yours
