Re: Whats my computer worth?
A please or thank you would be nice....
I'd say about $2000-$2200ish...is that a 2x 8GB pack or is that a mistake?
Re: Whats my computer worth?
Doesn't matter what it's worth unless it's for insurance cover. You'd get Sweet FA for a 2nd hand computer
Re: Whats my computer worth?
I'll swap you this pointy stick.
Its a bit blunt, But it still works.
Though you have to be real close, as its a bit short.
So its more of a jab with a blunt stick.

Re: Whats my computer worth?
what I do when selling my old pc's is price up the nearest equivalent new machine and then half it, if it's less than 6 months old maybe 60-75% new price, 6-18 months 50%
After 2 years I basically write them off and sell for around 50-75% of a current cheap upgrade box. After 2 years I sold my Q9300 quad core complete with screen and OS for $600, my i7 920 also with screen and OS for $750 (think I did underprice that one)
I am often one of the cheapest in trademe but I still think it's fair. I would never pay more than half price for a year old machine myself so I don't try and sell them for more than that ( usually :))
Still for me it's more about paying for some of the next upgrade rather than making any money, the SB i5 rig cost me around $1200 in parts - $750 for the i7 920 = $450 upgrade. Not bad really but doesn't factor in the value of parts I already had.
