We got three of different sizes, the Main lounge, as previously posted, This one https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/p/veo.../R2708608.html Why pay basically $2000 for old tech.
Haven't played with the Google Play Store yet but its inbuilt and works.
We had a Veon as Wainui says great picture crap speakers. Only reason we don't have it now is we picked up a second hand Panasonic smart for $80.
Yes, all "Smart" (read: stupid) TVs will eventually become unsupported. The question is when. I'd say you'll be lucky to get 5 years before they ditch it. If it's second-hand it may be a lot closer to being unsupported already.
You're better off getting a plain standard T.V. and for any fancy streaming program, connect a computer etc to it, as a PC takes a lot longer to become obsolete, and you can usually upgrade the OS a few times to keep up with everything.
Personally, I'd try fixing the old T.V... Sony are decent. If it's not the backlights, it could be a simple fix. Not that that helps you, I expect, but hey.
32" Samsungs, Panasonic and Sony on TRademe average $50.
Cash Converters have numerous, $40...a lot without remotes but some with.
Oh dear, another typo to go with the one that said it was Noel Leaming and in fact it was JB!
Price spy says September 2020 highest price was $3599. Lowest price $1,599.00December 2021.
Perhaps $1795?
