Hi

I have a IBM Thinkpad X20 which is very very thin .. less than 1.3kg with no floppy, cd. IR, parallel/com port. I could obtain a $1,000 base unit with floppy/cd-rw/cd-rom but like my system thin and its too pricy. I have a thinkpad recovery cd-rom and have no access.

Are USB CD-rom/Cd-RW bootable?? Do they need drivers to be loaded initially.

Are PCMCIA SCSI-e cards and SCSI-2 CD-rom/CD-RW bootable?? Do they need drivers to be loaded initially.

ARE Firewire PCMCIA cards with firewire CD-rom/cd-rw bootable?? Do they need drivers to be loaded initially.

USB floppies bootable??
