Hi folks

I have downloaded IE8 and when I click on "Run" I get a notice that says -

"Extraction failed
Unable to find a volume for file extraction. Please verify that you have a proper permissions"

What does this mean??

Running Vista Business 32bit

have you tried running it as administrator?, right click run as admin

Right click the file you downloaded / Run as Administrator.

Forget it and get Firefox.Much better and safer.

Actually, all the browsers but Google chrome are safe at the mo

Opera, FF, IE were hacked (checked for vulnerabilities / flaws) at a Pwn2Own competition the other day, within minutes.

Chrome was the only one that didnt get hacked / broken into. Because of its sandboxing feature
