Hi, each time I go onto a website I need to relogon like PC World but Firefox does save the password but I need to press logon each time, it does not save it for auto logon via cookies.

Cheers

In Firefox/Tools/Options/Privacy/Make sure "always clear my private data etc" is unticked.

Go into settings and untick 'cookies' to be sure.

If your using something like ccleaner then make sure you tell it to keep the cookies for this site under options, cookies

And make sure you have no addons blocking cookies.

None to the all above.

Addons - I only have Xnet usage meter, Skype, Sun Java and Color Mgmt.

Go to your profile folder and delete cookies.sqlite and cookies.txt

Cookies.txt will not be there if you're using FF 3

Location for profile:
C:\Users\<Windows login/user name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile folder>

Thanks, have not done a reboot but if I shut down FF and restart it, my username is remembered. Thanks :D
