View Full Version : Keyboard isnt working while install OS

In the bios my usb g15 keyboad isnt running. This makes me unable to intall an OS which sucks since i got a new computer. The keyboard is getting power as i can power my mouse through it. Anyone help please!

unplug pci cards/hard drives/dvd drives/mice/external HW from the PC and try if it works.

It it still doesn't, try to get a hold of another keyboard, then flash the bios

Could be the kb. Use a PS/2 keyboard

How can you install anything if you unplug the hdd Blam?? :p

Altho why would the keyboard appear in the BIOS?? Most USB keyboards dont

Its just to reset the bios, not to install the OS:p

Thanks for all the help but it seems luck is on my side. It went straight into the windows install and guess what, its working like a charm. Ill ask some more questions if i have anymore trouble.
