Hi all,
recently VLC has been crashing on my machine while watching .mkv files. Checking eventvwr showed a couple of .dlls being silly, but also drwatson crashed a couple of times. After some research I found that a trojan sometimes hides itself as drwatson. Looking in my system32 folder I found drwatson.exe and drwtsn32.exe. Does anybody know if either of these is nasty?

What are the names of the dll files??
Drwatson is legit drwatson32 by the looks of it, is a trojan (Drwatson32 isnt on here (XP)
Are these files on your system??
# %System%\syscache\DrWatson32.exe
# %System%\syscache\DrvWtsn32.dll
Get trojan remover update it then scan
Or check this out (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2005-022222-5440-99&tabid=1)
It could be what you've got
If this is what you've got DONT do online banking, as it steals information. Fix this first

Dr Watson is a debugger in Windows. It is a pain in the ass and something I disable any time I install Windows. It has been in several versions of Windows.
