I'm trying out lots of different bits of software at the moment. Has anyone had any experience with Revo Uninstaller - either good or bad?

Never used it for uninstalling, I either use add/remove programs, or ccleaner.

Or glarys utilities to scan for invalid reg stuff

Very good, I use Revo all the time.

Excellent. Beats the pants off Ccleaners rather overly cautious reg cleaning.

I use it too, and recommend it. It's surprising how much stuff gets left behind by an application's own installer (and that's the good thing about Revo - it lets the appliactions own uninstaller run first, and then just looks for what it's missed afterwards).

One word of caution - make sure you know what you're uninstalling!
I used it and saw an application called 'PC Health' that wasn't listen in the normal Windows add/remove programs via Control Panel. I didn't have a program with that name installed, so I figured it was some old utility I must have tried years ago, so I uninstalled it via Revo.
Turns out it was part of the Windows XP Help and Support Centre - Do'h!

Excellent for removing crap such as mcafee and nortons
