i converted a lot of (home) videos to xvid (avi) format using AutoGK (http://www.autogk.me.uk/) and it took me ages cuz i dont have a good pc. so anyway, i thought it would be a good idea at the time but now i only have like 1gb left on my HDD. so i decided, since my dvdplayer and xbox 360 can play xvid videos i thought id burn it to dvd, this way i could fit heaps of them on one 4.7gb disc! simple enough idea but apparently it isnt that simple. i did it and it wouldnt play off the xbox or dvd player. i burnt 2 onto a rewritable disc and they worked fine on both. off a usb drive it only worked on xbox 360. i realiased that nero just wouldntdo it right and i was wondering if there was something that could do it?

by the way on nero i went burn data to disc, becasue the burn video only did mpeg.

i just wat some software, doesnt have to be free, just small and able to do the job. i also dont want to completely dstroy my data cap either. i dont mind paying for it with paypal or something.

thanks

Cdburner does do dvds. And blu ray and HD dvd. According to the site

You just cant make menus

Unless you pay for some of the plugins for Nerovision (part of Nero), you wont get the option to burn to DVD (altho, the options you get, may depend on the version of Nero you installed)

You need a program (if you want it to play in any DVD), that can load whatever format, the program will convert it to dvd format. Once it burns it to DVD.

You cant just add the file to a dvd and expect it to play in any DVD. It wont, if it cant play it
