A couple of years ago I deleted a Gmail account. I wanted to delete one the other day but couldn't find my way in the Gmail menu into achieving that. Is it still possible to delete your Gmail account? if so, how?
Thanks

Leave it. After 30 days, it gets deleted apparently.

Thanks bob. I don't think though they get auto deleted if you haven't accessed them for 30 days, if that's what u mean. I sometimes went months without checking them and there they were still sitting there.

Some mail gets deleted after 30 days but I am not sure how to delete an account. Possibly you may be referring to a hotmail account rather than Gmail.

I believe a Hotmail account would be deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Not sure if it is the same for Gmail. But of course I do not know for sure. I have two Gmail accounts and I never had a hotmail account.

What Bob_doe posted is the right way of doing it. I've deleted some of my old accounts that way and no problems at all.
