Just reloading windows xp on a old pc

Athlon 2000xp
Raedon 9200se 128mb (mean card for 2004)

Can't seem to find the MOBO model code anywhere on it so I can install the chipset drivers; any ideas.

Am on my sixth wild turkey, but it isn't anywhere you would expect.

Use something like PC Wizard (http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php)

Or go to start / all programs / accessories / system tools / system information

Look on the right alongside system model

If you haven't already reformatted it, you could use DriverMax (http://drivermax.com) to back up all your old drivers, then reinstall them on the new install...

Yeah thats a good idea, was trying to find out what I needed while everything was installing but XP has now installed fully so I will check that.

Man I love it when the computer guys put the xp key code on the side of the case it makes it so easy, didn't even have to run keyfinder.(magic jellybean)

For an old computer it puts Mrs Qs C2Duo to shame(it's a Dell though)

Yeah wasn't going to reinstall, but it was playing up so was going to run seatools and Memtest but wouldn't let me even into safe mode so decided to reformat.

Then while reformatting came up 2x memory dump error code so it went straight from 1Gb Ram to 512Kb Ram, now it works fine.
