Hi All

I am interested to purchase the academic version of Microsoft Office 2007 standard (as it has the outlook 2007)

I am just wondering, what is significant differences between the actual retail and the academic version

Do I need to keep my existing Office before install the Office 2007

How many users are allow to use the academic version?

Please advise
thanks
Jacky

You can keep your older version and have the new version loaded as well but can only have one version of Outlook not both. Don't know how many users your allowed but probably only one read the box see what it says

There are no practical differences between the two products - just variations the license terms.

If you are a current student, you should consider the special Microsoft Select pricing here: http://www.lapshop.co.nz/all/index.asp?PageID=2145837700

IIRC you can't upgrade academic versions later on.

This is true for academic Vista anyway... :)
