Hi, anyone know a good fax program that works with vista, preferably free, but I don't think there is one.Otherwise a reasonably priced one.I have an old copy of winfax pro 8,but although it will load and seem to work,it load a printer driver,so I can't actually fax anything with it.Any suggestions?

I purchased a program called Mighty Fax (http://www.rkssoftware.com/mightyfax/overview.html) a few years ago, -works great on XP - But I see its no longer for sale.

BUT they recommend one called EssentialFax (http://www.essentialfax.com/fax-software/screenshots.html) - they say it works on Vista - if its anything like Mightyfax all you need is a modem in the PC for faxing, Sending and receiving.

I see it has a 30 Day trial - more than enough time to test it if you wish.

What's wrong with the Fax & Scan that comes with Vista? Or does it only come with Vista Business?

Edit:

Ah yes it does...or Vista Ultimate.

There is also Snappy Fax. (http://www.snappysoftware.com/)
